The nominations for the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards were announced on Wednesday morning, with "Shogun" and "The Bear" leading the pack. The nominations cover primetime programming aired between June 2022 and May 2024.
Emmy winners Tony Hale and Sheryl Lee Ralph unveiled the nominees during a live presentation. "Shogun," a historical drama, received a total of 20 nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Lead Actor for Hiroyuki Sanada.
"The Bear," a comedy-drama set in a Chicago restaurant, earned 14 nominations, including Outstanding Comedy Series and Outstanding Lead Actor for Jeremy Allen White.
